The 35th International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS) General Assembly 2026 is a prestigious global event organised by the International Union of Biological Sciences, celebrating 107 years of IUBS. The event will bring together researchers, students, and professionals in the field of biological sciences.
A key highlight of the assembly is the Student Awards program in collaboration with BeST Cluster, designed to encourage young researchers to showcase their work in the thematic areas of One Health and Precision Agriculture. Under this initiative, participants can compete for the BeST Poster Award, where five winners will be selected in each category, with each award carrying a prize of ₹15,000. Additionally, the BeST Registration Award offers financial support to students, covering ₹3,000 for one-day registrations and ₹5,000 for full registrations, with the condition that abstract submission is mandatory. Notably, eligible participants have the opportunity to receive both awards if selected.
The event is scheduled to take place from June 10th to 12th, 2026, at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, India, specifically at the JN Tata Auditorium.
